WORKING WITH MODULAR VIDEO SYNTHESIS AS THE PALETTE; ELECTRIFYING PATTERNS & STRIKING COLOURSCAPES ARE MANUFACTURED THROUGH PURE ANALOGUE OUTPUT, RESULTING IN UNIQUELY VIBRANT & MIND-MELTING VISUALS
Utilising Modular Video Synthesisers & 20th Century video hardware to produce video art requires each composition to be performed & recorded live. This creates unique & individual pieces which exist momentarily in time before being lost forever with any further changes. Still & moving image media is produced for varied purposes & applications; from graphic arts & music videos to visual performances at festivals & events. Equipment & Processes

Techniques
Glitch Processors
A blend of circuit-hacked hardware mixers & processors and purpose-built units to break, distort and skew footage, from subtle fuzz to 'beyond recognition'.
Camera Feedback
Camera feeds routed through all the above and back to themselves to create endless feedback loops and the ultimate kaleidoscopic visuals. Mesmerising and endless iterations of prismatic shapes and colours.
Retro Games Consoles
The quintessential retro look is synonymous with classic games consoles. Utilising a range of these machines & games to further process and distort creates that perfect nostalgic and computerised charm.
Vector Synthesis
Vector displays such as oscilloscopes or the Vectrex console allow for visual representations of audio waveforms. Through manipulation of various waveform parameters via eurorack modules and/or computer programming tools, intricate and dynamic patterns can be created, from simple shapes to complex textures. This is a totally different aesthetic to the above mentioned video synthesis and the two can even be combined together to create a tertiary type of visual.

Microscopy
Creating incredible textures and alien-like source media, Microscopy is a whole other world of visual — "the technical field of using microscopes to view samples & objects that cannot be seen with the unaided eye".

Titlers
A true relic of the 20th-century video production world; Character Generators or 'Titlers' are the perfect tool for a low-res and entirely retrogressive approach to creating text content for video.
Still & Moving Image
Any photo or video footage can be processed alongside or through the majority of the above tools. From classic films to landscape photography and everything in-between.
