Privacy Policy
Who we are
Tundra Tides is a trading name of J R Tyson Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 16222569). What the contact and hire forms collect
When you submit the contact or hire request form on this site, the details you enter (such as your name, email address, phone number and message) are sent to our form processor, Web3Forms, which forwards them to us by email. We only use this information to reply to your enquiry. We do not sell or share it with anyone else.
Cookies and embedded content
This site uses only essential cookies needed for it to function. We embed video using YouTube's privacy-enhanced "nocookie" player, which does not set cookies until you choose to play a video. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which involves your browser making a request to Google's servers. When our shop is enabled, product checkout is handled by Snipcart, which may set its own cookies during checkout. When our Instagram feed is enabled, it is embedded via Behold, which loads images and data from Instagram/Meta.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering the site to your browser.
Retention
We keep enquiry emails for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and for our own record-keeping, and delete them when they are no longer needed. We do not store form submissions in a database on this site — they only exist as emails sent by Web3Forms.
Your rights under UK GDPR
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@tundratides.com.
Complaints to the ICO
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
